Peril(Streetelite) has been involved in the Melbourne Urban/Funk/Hip Hop genre since 1983 which he started out as a bboy,and then later on started collecting and playing records from hip hop to funk breaks and fell into djing from his passion of music.
He later joined force's with some of melb's underground graffiti crews SDA,DMA,and in 1986 formed the crew Claim 2 Fame!
Peril played in many a band from 90-97 until he formed and produced the Aria Award winning group 1200 Techniques.
You can spot Peril in the book "Kings Way" in which he was a contributor as well as a featured artist.
Since then he has been steady producing beats and can be seen djing all over Oz on the regular.
He established Planet of the breaks in 1997 which became the underground place to hear Neo Soul-Hip Hop-Funk until 2003 which became a Australian Urban institution & blue print for many a club/dj/promoter.
Peril was integral in influencing the next generation of Dj's/Prod/Artists and has left a legacy and a body of work that speaks for itself, over his 28 years in the game.
He is also the Assistant Australian Zulu nation chapter leader.
